Dear all

My customer want to migrate their system Nortel CS1K to the Avaya CM (Aura), for this I have some questions:

* Does Nortel IP Phone 1120/1150 series supported on Avaya CM with full features ?
* Can we keep Nortel Media Gateway (MGC + cards) to work with CM after migration ?

Thank you in advance

You can flash the 1120 and 1140 sets with SIP firmware for use with CM. They will not be full featured, but rather will be basic SIP sets with no PPM.

No. The CS1K gateways and cards will not work with CM.

Thanks for your reply, as you said the best solution is to change the hole CS1K system and start with a new CM...

How big is your system? Depending on what you are doing you could run them in parallel and move segments at a time, using CDP and UDP to keep inter system calling seamless.

System is arroud 100 users with AACC AML based solution...
so I think is better to change all system and phones
regarding call center we have two option either using Call Center Elite licence or existing AACC with SIP based to CM..

what do you think ?

Thank you

you would be better off with an IP Office as maintenance is much more affordable

I've worked in both call center environments and like AACC much better than CCE and CMS. Unless there is some real saving I would not change. If you HAVE to replace the system I would look at IP Office with AACC.

Yes what I think also the IPO will survive more than CM in Avaya
