I would like to migrate the users/groups & SID info for an NT4 member server to a Windows 2000 member server. Both NT4 & Win2K servers are in the same Active Directory domain.
I have looked at using the ADMT 2.0 tool from Microsoft, however this tool appears to only allow for migrating between 2 domains (source and target domains).
Upon trying to specify the same source & target domain, I get the msg: "Please input different domains for the source and target. (domain=ourdomainname)
Is there an alternate tool or option for ADMT that will let me migrate the users/groups/SID info between NT4 & Win2K member servers that exist in the same domain?
Any info would be greatly appreciated.
