Migrating from Meridian Option61 to Avaya G3siR10

Really there isn't much you can do. The Definity and Meridan are like night and day.
I am not sure if you have used definitey before. If you haven't be prepared for a much easier time administering it and a more powerful system.
Just make sure you have current hunt group configs, ds1 information, station printouts, signal group printouts, agent configs etc...

This is actually my 2nd AVAYA Switch. I figure MOST of the data we will be able to COPY from the existing switch. We just purchased the hospital that has this NORTEL switch and it is trying to die on us. Since the existing switch is AVAYA we are going for compatibility between campuses.
I agree that the Avaya's are easier to administer. Dirk Melvin
