Anyone here done this? We're currently running GW5.5 and want to go straight over to Exchange 2003, but im unsure of our available options!

I know there was a tool to migrate certain elements to Exchange 2000- is there anything like this for 2003? or even would the same tool work?

My company is migrating from GroupWise to Exchange 2003 also. We're just starting the testing phase. Maybe we could collaborate?

Could do, but I'm only thinking about doing it right now, just gathering info.. I understand theres a tool which comes with exchange 2000 that lets you bring the mailboxes and calendars over from groupwise, but WONT do the archive - the tool recommends you move everything out of the archive then run it, which is madness in my eyes! I'm assuming this tool works on ex2003 also?!

There just doesnt seem to be a lot of info about this sort of move floating about!

minimum 100 users!? urgh, how stupid :( we only have about 30 here!

looks like its going to be the hard way for us..

The standard tools that come along with exchange 2003 include a migration tool that works really well. Use it on some test mailboxes and see if it works for your setup. I have been testing it for our upcoming migration and it seems to work very well.

Will the Microsoft migration tool migrate Groupwise 5.5 address books, mail messages, tasks, etc. to Exchange 2003?

I know the archive messages won't get migrated!

Also, has anyone used a third party migration tool to migrate from Groupwise 5.5 to Exchange 2003 and are there any problems doing so?

Thanks!
John
