Migrating from Exchange to Merak

Has anyone performed a migration from MS Exchange 2000 to Merak mail Server? I need some good docs to guide me along this journey. I have read that users can continue to use MS Outlook with Merak Mail. Also I have read that Merak prefers POP over SMTP? Will migration of exchange mean that I will have to give up SMTP?

Hi,

I didn't migrate from Exchange or anything, but, I started at Merak so as far as POP3 and SMTP, Merak uses those two therefore you wouldn't be giving up anything. Also, it is very easy to setup. In addition to that, my workplaces uses Outlook to retrieve their emails.
