Hi all,

I am right now at an office located in mexico with a MICS 5.0 that is using two 4x0 LS/DS Analog Cards. This office want to change to Digital Trunks and as far as I know I need the T1 card NT7B74 and the T1 services cartridge obviously removing the Analog cards. What I am concerned about is that in Mexico they use E1's instead of T1's. I don't have much experience with this, can anyone help me pointing me in the rigth direction please ???? Thank you.

I'm pretty sure that 6.X and above level software will allow you to utilize E1 protocol.

If you still need to use digital lines & can´t upgrade to V6.X, Nortel resellers sell a DS1 Converter (made from Telrad) that you can use with Telmex / Axtel E1, it has a 24 channels limit.
