Hello. I have a need to install CC reporting on a new PC and wanted to know if there was a way to migrate the data off the existing PC to the new one so we don't lose historical data.

It does not matter if it is a Callpilot or a BCM.Follow these instructions & get yourself a copy of your old CCRDB data base & than just copy & paste it into your new installation on the new computer.

.1) Go to "Services" and stop the MySQL service
2) Open Windows Explorer and navigate to MySQL (it could be on the root or within Program Files depending on the version of RCC installed)
3) Expand until you see a folder called CCRDB. This is the working RCC Database. Its in the "bin" or "data" folder. You can delete it, or cut/paste it somewhere else if you want to import some of the data back in.

While you're at it take the opportunity to purge / clean up any duplicate or unneeded data. The historical data base can grow pretty large with years worth of non-relevant data.

Just re-install RCC on the new pc, the bcm retains the last 250,000 calls, you won't loose anything older then few years, unless very busy call center..
