Hello,
I've just set up a new RHEL 5 server with samba+openldap working as a PDC and I'm having problems with all the roaming profiles I migrated from another server in my network which had the same configuration but run on RHEL 4.
I migrated all the roaming profiles I had on my old server to the new server using the 'profiles' command to replace the SID of the old domain by the new one, and added all the Groups and Users (using the same UID and GUID) to my new machine.
The problem is that the migrated roaming profiles only work if the owner User is in the "Domain Admins" Group. If they are not in that group the Windows machines load the desktop icons when the user logs on, but no other stuff is loaded.
Users in my domain only need to be in the "Domain Users" Group to use the shares and log on in the domain.
My old server is down so that the only PDC in my network is the RHEL 5 machine.
Anyone can help?
