Hello,

I am joining a number of computers to a new domain. They download their
email from a web hosting provider.

Once they have moved to the new domain, I copied the pst file from their old
documents and settings profile to the new profile and then select the message
store in Tools>Options>Mail Setup>Data Files

However, when emails are being composed no auto-complete occurs (normally if one types "e" the full email address emailaddress@hotmail.com appears, along
with other names and email addresses starting with e).

What do I need to migrate to ensure that this occurs?

PST doesnt contain that info.
I believe its like in Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook, and the extension is something like .NK2

Nor does it have anything to do with the address book.

That list is compiled when users successfully send mail to a recipient. As robmazco said, it's a file on the machine called the nickname file, and ends in .nk2. You could copy it over, of just have them start sending mail, and the list will populate itself. Users should not rely on that autocomplete feature as a method of storing addresses.
