SBCSU's directions have helped tremendously in avoiding wiring disasters. We are getting ready for a giant move, and I will be moving some phone extensions to IP phones due to lack of ports left on the regular digital cards.

Is there a method to similarly move an optipoint 500 to an optipoint 410 on an STMI4 card?

You have to delete and re-add the phone to move between TDM and IP.

Moriendi, thank you for the reply. If I follow the steps for a TDM phone can I apply these settings from expert mode to the IP phone?

WIll all of the commands listed below save the groups and settings if I run on a station I want to move to IP? It's very aggravating to have the HIPATH delete the extension off all of the phones that have it as a DSS or Line key.

It appears I am going to be moving approximately 30 phones to the STMI card when the new ip phone arrive. Forgive my ignorance on this subject. Thank you.

Yes that looks OK. If you have any key systems you'll need KCSU for PRIM and SEC as well, but it won't let you delete if it's in a key system so it doesn't delete without warning anyway.

It is a real pain there's no easy way to do this, SXSU AMO would have been a good candidate to make this exchange easy as it will change device type between analog and digital, why they didn't amend it for IP2 devices I don't know, it seems an obvious improvement to me.
