Hi,

We'e just installed a new Exchange server and need to migrate mailboxes from a legacy Exchange server. Accounts have not been migrated using ADMT, so I guess the Exchange Migration Wizard is out. Ideally I'd like to manually match which accounts are transfered from/to, as there are only about 30. Would exmerge do this, or is there another migration tool?

Thanks

Yes, Exmerge will do the job. I just did it this past weekend with approximately 100 mailboxes without any problems.

Note that after your Exmerge you will probably have to go into the properties of each user account and create a custome X500 address for each user. Otherwise if any of your users hits "reply" to an email that they received prior to the migration, they'll get an NDR.

Search for "proxy X500 address" on M$ site to get the skinny.
