[Mid Call Feature] Not working EHDU / MBG

Hi,

We are having problems with Mid Call Features on EHDU device.

I checked the kplm config => OK :

On Sip Peer Profile:

Allow Inc Subscriptions for Local Digit Monitoring No
Allow Out Subscriptions for Remote Digit Monitoring Yes
Force Out Subscriptions for Remote Digit Monitoring No
Request Outbound Proxy to Handle Out Subscriptions Yes
KPML Transport UDP
KPML Port 5060

The Subscription User Name and Password is the same on the Basic Sip Peer Profile and the MBG.


I have do a Wireshark pcap analyse and i see when the EHDU device send the DMTF event, the MBG don't forward this one to the Mivoice (he forward this one to himself).

Can someone help me solve?

Did you enable the midcall features on the COS of the user?

Yes, this COS parameter is active on the Deskphone extension and the EHDU:

Hot Desk External User - Allow Mid-Call Features Yes




 
Just a thought but i think it needs to be enabled on the COS of the trunk too.

It is active also on Trunk SIP COS.


What is strange is that the MBG does not forward the DTMF to Mivoice (I just made a TCPDUMP on the Mivoice and no DTMF reaches him)
 
Has this ever worked ?
I dont think all carriers (SIP) support this
we stopped advertising this as a feature as it was too problematic
