I have a customer who has a 4.1 mics that loses time.
auto day light has been changed to NO.
Is the time/date stored on the s/ware cartridge?pcm card?
Back-plane?
The system is about 4 years old.
Not sure what needs to be changed out.....

its stored on the software cartridge, do they have a stable power source i normally find that older switches suffer with that after power cuts

Remember if it doesn't work hit it harder

Does the system come with a battery, I don't recall, some ofthe old NEC did and cause that same problem

the batery for the software is in the cartridge, if you take it apart you could replace it but fot the cost you might as well replace the s/ware cartridge

Remember if it doesn't work hit it harder

4.1 has been out for about 6 years
I dont know if it is on the cabinet or the NVRAM

when you say it loses time - does it slow down even when working continually without power interruption. - this is known
If it loses power, then the clock stops.

In the PBXs there is an option to automatically adjust clock (example like 10 seconds in a day)
