I need to find a good comparison list of features between the Avaya Partner and Norstar MICS. I'm a Norstar head and my boss is pushing toward the Partner so I'm trying to give him a list of features so he can see how weak the Partner is by comparison.

Thanks,

If I don't know, I know who to ask!

Check out the Avaya website. They probably have an overview of the product.

The Partner ACS is a fine system for what it can do. It is geared towards smaller businesses that do not need a full T1, ISDN or VoIP services.

It does offer flexibility not usually found in other system, but always compare "apples to apples".

If it ain't broke, I haven't fixed it yet.

The Dial Plan is extremely limited and it does not support any BRI or PRI only CAS DS1, and only 16 channels to boot! You can't tie systems together like you can with a Norstar.

Those are some of the major weaknesses of the Partner...
