Hello Everyone,
I am going to be ugrading a MICS 3.0 to 6.1. I'll be using the upgrade tool to maintain the curent configuration. After upgrade I'll be changing most of the 7310 telephones to 7316E's. Can anyone tell me what I can expect in relation to the button programming on the new phones? I expect all system buttons (line, intercom, answer DN's) should be retained but what about user programmable ones? How will they be mapped to the 7316's? Will they be lost?

I do believe you will be F*0'ing and taking notes. Button B01 is button B01 regardless. You might get lucky though.

prior to rel6.1 the system saw the 7316 and 7316E phones are 7310 ... with the new s/w it sees it as the correct phone

and i would do a clean install as opposed to an upgrade from a pre4.0 system
