MICS T1 Help....

Have a customer that is installing a 2nd T1 card on a MICS w/4.0 Software (30NDG04), has clock card & 6-port fiber.

When he installs in into the 12x0, it reads - "NEEDS Digital CRD"

What is that? Never seen this before. Thanks Brent

Not sure of the error code but you need a min rls of 6.0 before you can use the T1 card out of the main cab.

Try putting the second T1 card in the main cabinet. If there is an analog card in the main cabinet next to the existing T1 card then move it to the 12x0.

As written previously, the T1 card must be in the core cabinet and won't work in the trunk module at R4.0. You'll have to change the card type in Hardware, which requires disabling the slot in Maintenance, changing the card type to T1 in Hardware, and then enabling the slot again in Maintenance.
