I have a client with a MICS system and a Flash 2 system..

Issue is lines 5 and 6 will be locked up on system and no one is on phone-if you press the buttons it says lines in use. I put the lines after a bit on jacks so client can unplug them to reset them. This works and did for about 3 months. Now its back. I went in to confirm no hacking of the flash was happening and i put lines 5 and 6 in pool B so they would not be used as much.Now today they called me to say lines 2 and 3 are locked out. Line 1 and 4 are fine. Again it says Line in use but no one is on phones ??? I need some help here as Its not a line card issue it seems... Frank...
 
I'll assume you rebooted both the KSU and the Flash. 1ST thing I'd do after that is change the line cards...
 
Verify;
a) Disconnect supervision is turned for the lines.

b) You are actually receiving the DS pulse from the CO.

The system was rebooted a few times and I have not replaced any cards as the problem is not card specific. All lines have Disconnect Supervision on since you have a voicemail. The problem seems to be there when they come in the office also at the beginning of the day, almost seems like it happens at night but we cant be sure as they also say it pops up mid day also...
