If I put a 4.1 software cartridge into a MICS that has previously had 7.1 software installed, the MICS will not come up. Is there anyway to purge the MICS of that newer software. I have already tried to drain the system capacitor, but that does not work.

Do a **STARTUP with the 7.1 and while the display reads APPLYING TEMPLTE kill power to the system. Then put in the 4.1 and power up , I've had them come up in 10 minutes and I've also had them take 30 to 40.

Actually, this is for a CCIS, but that should not make a difference. I did as you suggested, even let it boot up all night, and this 7.1 software will not go away. It will not boot up! Do you have any other suggestions?
