MICS Slot 2

I have a MICS with a PRI, I'm having a problem when I add a LS/DS card in slot 2. The system goes into Maintenance. Can I add a LS/DS card in slot 2?

I don't remember the embossed slot #'s. But you can have an LS/DS card in either of the two slots to the far right.

Rule of thumb - MICS cards go right to left and in the fiber trunk module, left to right.

Check the settings in Hardware first. Someone may have swapped the PRI card at some point. Make sure it shows Loop Start. It should also show either 25-28 or 31-34 depending on software level
