MICS ringing services

Hi

I have configured 2 ringing groups with different extensions
and as well defines start time and end time for the entire day so at an certain time one set of extension suppose to ring and at lunch another set of phones suppose to ring and i set the line names to corresponding ringing group and in auto mode.

I see in the phone in what mode i am but once i call in from the POTS line to the system all phones assigned that particular line with "appear&ring" will ring even if they are not in the ringing group for that time of day.

I tried to remove line assignment from all extensions and then no extension will ring at all when calling in again from POTS ...


what am i missing here ...


The phones have no voicemail nor call forward programed ...

In Service you need to also make sure you add the lines in question to the Ring Group, not sure what you meant by "line names".
Try Appear Only btw.

Example of 2 companies:

Ring Group 001:
Line 001
Line 002
Members-
Ext 221
Ext 222
Control set 221

Ring Group 002:
Line 003
Line 004
Members-
Ext 223
Ext 224
Control set 223

I tried to say is that in scheduled: night i have the option lines and in there i added the lines for that extension ...

what is control set for ???

One Ringing group 001 contains 4 extensions and in the other one ringing group 002 another 4 extensions should ring.

Ringing group 002 shall use sched: 4 from 9:01-14:29, (evening) 16:00-18:59 and night 19:00-08:59

Ringing group 001 from 14:30-15:59 Mon-fri

In Ringing group i only option to assign or unassign to that group no line option but in sched: night, lunch, evening and sched:4 .... i have that option

Lines settings is what u need in order to assign limes to a ring grp.
