Has any one ever installed an 0X16 over c/p fiber. have a site that has a MICS at admin but someone put a CICS w/5 sets at at a building 3 miles away. they do have SM fiber between locations. also have Copper cable between them that now extends analog stations between systems, they would like to use one sys if possable

have a site that has a MICS at admin"
and
"hey do have SM fiber between locations"

So if they already have SM's (Station Modules) on the remote side then why is the CICS in place?

Curlycord I believe that he is saying they have "single mode" fiber between the sites not station modules. If they already have networking between the sites you may want to look at a pair of MCK extenders which should allow you to get rid of the CICS and run your remote phones off of the main system. And no you would not be able to run a remote station module off of the existing fiber.

Curlycord those Citel modules look like they would do just what the OP wants. Looks like he would need a single mode to multi mode converter as well, but if the customer wants to only have to maintain one system they should be prepared to spend a little cash to make it happen.
