Hello,

Is there anyway that I can reset this system to factory deflaut programing? I need it to renumber the ports in order. Some are misarranged due to chaning DNs. Another thing is that when a line rings and I pick the line up using a basic phone such as a cordless that hooked to the system the system still rings 1 more time after I have answered. My last Norstar 8X24 did not do this.

Unplug your system and replug it.

You have 2 minutes to make this feature:

Feature **startup (7827887) enter your Technician Password (default = 266344) and answer the questions to setup your system for the next startup.

it is usually preferable to connect youy cordless phone thu the norstar to an ata on the system, then the norstar knows when the line is busy and when it has been answered
