MICS R1T1 - DND on busy option

this is a first timer for me ...
this is a mics r1t1,
under general admin > Capabilities > Set capabilities
i dont see the option DND on busy.

Here is how the options appear:

Fwd on no answer
Fwd on busy

Allow redirect

the programming record also indicates it should be there. any suggestions welcome. the customer needs the phone not to ring when on another call
 
I believe DND on busy came into being in Rev 3.0. I check Sys Co guide for Rel 1 and it's not in there.

2 possible solutions: use the DND feature or set call forward busy back to receptionist or to voice mail if one is being used.

 
thanks telemarv ..i was looking at the programming record for MICS DR1.1 and the option is there. and i looked up the sys cord guide also it is there on page 43... probably we are looking at 2 different books. my book part # is p0838263 issue 2. which one are u referring to?

i'm going to try ur suggestion of fwd on busy to 221 and see if that fulfills the requirements. thanks again
 
I just checked my books and it is in 1.1 but not R1-T1. Your book may not match your software. I found the page 43 you refered to, but that is a 1.1 book, not R1T1. They are different.
You might want to post the SP code you get from your system version to verify what you really have.

The R1 T1 guide I have is P0745973 Issue 03 dated 1994. Must be R1.0

Set ablilites are: Set Lock, HF, Auto HF, HF Answerback, Pickup Group, Paging, Page Zone, Aux Ringer, Direct Dial, Forward on Busy, Forward No answer, Alow Redirect, redirect ring, hotline, priority.

No mention of DND on Busy.
