Hello, we have a client with an MICS running 7.1xc software.
They had a power failure overnight and the UPS also ran out of power.
Client only has T7316 E phones, some of which are newer and say "AVAYA" on them, and some of which are older, and say "Nortel Networks" on them.
When things came back up after the power outage, everything was perfectly fine, except for the 28 newest phones, all of which say "AVAYA" on them.
The 75 or so older phones, which say "Nortel Networks" on them, all came back up no problem.
The sets were all placed randomly, so the Avaya sets are not all on specific 0x16s, they are just random across the business.
Customer has 8 x 0x16s plus the 0x32.
They called us in - all we had to do was unplug the Avaya sets from their outlet and then plug them in (to make them reboot), then they all came back up no problem.
But I am trying to figure out why the Avaya branded phones didn't come up after the power outage, but the Nortel ones did.
Very strange.
Thanks for any advice or ideas.
