MICS Fiber module incompatibilty

Trying to add 2 0X16 station modules to MICS e/w 6.1XC SW, System will not reckonize modules, however if I move existing module to this fiber port it will work & if I move new station module to existing fiber port it will not work there either. Seems to be a firmware problem in new station modules. Has anyone else had this problem?

Sounds like a defective Module or fiber cord.

Just for kicks,disable, change settings in hardware (to anything else),reenable, disable, change back, and reenable. I have seen that before.....usually on an upgrade, though.

You might need to plug in at least 1 set to the new module for the system to see the DSM's. Have seen this before.
