MICS DR 6.1 and DTI cards

I've got a customer that has a MICS w/ DR6.1. The T-1 in it is a point to point hooked to another MICS w/ DR 6.1. They are having some major issues with the T-1 and I might need to replace the DTI card. Can I replace the T-1 card (#NT7B74AAAA) with an older one? Or does it have to have the newer card because it's got 6.1 in it?

in 10 yrs i have never had a t1 card be the issue....what type t1 and what ver software on both ksu's???...what are major issues you are having??
