I have a MICS with a few bad ports.
Is there a way of backing up this system and restoring the information on a new KSU?
Having to reprogram the whole system would take a great deal of time.

An added note to what Nortellian said: After getting the backup, you can only restore to the exact same software release, so if you replace hardware, keep the software cartridge.

how bad are the ports? I thought i had a bunch of bad ports on a brand new cics once,
turned out to be a bunch of tip and ring interchange in the amphenol connector.
