Anyone ever set one up, Customer had it working with old spirit phone system off a trunk port. I have a spare trunk port to use. tried making trunk 061 public and put it on a phone and am unable to access the amplifier. I have the regular paging port (blk/slt) using feature 62 working to just page the warehouse. but want to be able to have them be able to answer back through the page speakers. thanks in advance for any help

You need to put a 24v or 48v dc transformer in series with one of the input wires to give it line current.

Agreed ....for some models.
Which Amp model is it?.

The problem is the CO port on the MICS is looking for battery. No battery; the system will put the port out of service.

It is an old Dukane model 9A1651 . did a google search for it and I believe it is so old that nothing comes up on it. it has an old western Electric 24v power supply on it. So I need to jumper one of the tel connections to one side of the power supply and the other to what? If I put the 24v on the tel connectors won't there be a hum on the speakers or only when someone hits that trunk? Thanks guys
Mike

Thanks, I got the idea now.Series not parallel. Yes it has the power supply already. It's one of those 40 year old western electric power supplies thats about 10 inches cubed with the little wire fuses on it. lol. but its still working. Thanks you guys are always a great source of info.
