A customer of mine just called and said that she changed the greeting of the auto attendant, and all of a sudden when someone hits "0" for the operator, the voice says that the operator is busy and goes directly into voicemail instead of ringing the phones. This is an old system and I'm wondering if it's equipment or not. Any ideas as far as programming? Thanks!

The only setting that directly effects this is Ftr982. You need Attndt. Available set to "Y" and not "N". Although there is no reason to touch this setting to rerecord a greeting.

Adversity is Opportunity

Also under f982, make sure you've got the right extension assigned as the attendant. Under f983 AA/Tables, too.

If you go to F983, then go to A/A, greetings, then A/A again, change that setting to yes to return to A/A. May solve your problem.
