Is there a way to prevent callers from "zeroing out" of a subscriber mailbox while the mailbox greeting is playing?

My customer doesn't want callers to be able to transfer to the operator by pressing zero during a mailbox greeting.

I've checked "disable personal target attendant" in Class of Service but all it does is prevent the user from changing their own target attendant.

I can still "zero out" to extension 221 even with "disable personal target attendant" checked.

Thanks in advance for replies.

Do you use zero out during auto-attendant calls? If yes, then the answer to your question is no.

If no; log into F982 and select Attendant Available = no.

Thanks for the replies.

The CallPilot 150 is full auto attendant answering 8 rollover pots lines on the first ring.

One of the menu options is press 2 for the prescription mailbox. The customer doesn't want callers to "zero out" of this mailbox. There's no extension assigned to this mailbox.

If I go to F982 and select Attendant Available = No, will that prevent every caller from being able to reach 221 from the main greeting?

* The prescription mailbox is mbox 300 and I've tried setting mbox 300's target attendant as 300 and it still rang to 221.

Attendant Available = No will turn zero off system wide. A work around you be to tell callers to use another digit to reach an operator.

Actually Marv I think this way:

Feature 982 - Attendant Available = No (Answer Lines = Y, Bus = Open)
AA/Table 1/Attendant set to ext 221

Then:
Calls to AA can press 0 and get 221
Pressing 0 from a mailbox will get "The attendant is not available" and would then dump the caller into the general mailbox.

If General Mailbox is used then:
You would need to disable the General Mailbox
Then create Mailbox 221 behind 221 (assuming 100 was behind 221)

Normally you would program the Auto Attendant ext under F982 and not in Table otherwise the Table will overrule F982
