OK, this is stumping me. I put in a ASM and hooked up 3 DN's to be used for DID Faxes. Inbound calls work like a charm, but when dialing out, with the Fax DID number in the OLI section, you get dial tone back after dialing the number. Remove the OLI and calls go out normal. I tested this on all three and it's the same.
Is the FC on the PCMIA card that hold the software a issue.
Most all the systems I've worked on in the past have had MR on this card. It's not a XC system. I can think of nothing short of the system software causing this.

Check to make sure your carrier is allowing those numbers to go out. I have in the past had carriers only allow for the main trunk group number to be sent until I told them I wanted to use my DID's as the calling ID.

Hawk, it was just before we cut-over to a new carrier that I discovered this. After the cut-over I didn't try it. You may have the correct answer here. I'll go by today and try it now with this new carrier. We didn't use OLI before yesterdays attempt. I'll post the results here. Thank you.

Hawk, the OLI issue is gone with this new carrier.
Problem was the carrier.
