MICS 7.1 expanded system with a PRI and a DID number range:

Assuming programming starting from scratch, and a system received digit length set to be 4-digits:

Of the four DN digits, how much freedom is allowed in programming the beginning digits "abcd" of the range? Can all four digits be chosen and the MICS then automatically increments from whatever that number is, or can only the first digit "a" be selected and the MICS assigns "b" and the rest of the range?

There are several codes reserved;

Call Park default is 1 but changeable
Line access default is 9 changeable
2,3,4,5,6,7,8 are available.

What about the last 3-digits? Any restrictions with these after a suitable first digit is chosen? For example, could the beginning DN of the range be 3550, or 4180, or 6375, etc? Thanks.

No to the first part and Yes to the second part.

Thanks! Knowing that it's possible to program all four of the digits of the beginning DN of the range gives flexibility to match DID ranges offered by the Carrier.
