I am powering up a MICS with 7.0 XC software and I keep getting the system need a UTAM password. I am finding limited info on my disc concerning this but it all seems to have something to do with an upgrade fault of some kind.

Usually you can hit the soft key and get right past it. They were used for companion, which doesn't work on 7.0 anyway. Never had a UTAM password stop the reboot.

If you are using companion, and need a UTAM code, write down the sys ID, and call 1800-4NORTEL. Last I knew they were providing these free, and not requiring authorization codes, etc...

Thanks, it was not stopping the bootup. Sorry for the incorrect info I was just wondering what it meant.
The system is operating fine and it looks like it does have something to do with companion which I am not using.
Thanks for the reply.
