I have 2 MICS 6.0 with centilized VM (NAM).
calling between the systems works great....
but when the customer on the remote switch tries to access
a line, loop-start or PRI, they have a 10 to 15 second delay...before they get dial tone from the main/sys1 system.
when dialing on the PRI they enter all the digits and then it times out, but I have tried with a 10 to 15 sec. wait, then entering the 10 digit tel.no. and it works.
How do I get rid of the pause.
Thanks for any help

I think you have a complicated problem but here is where you should look.

In your routes, you define a public and private route between the systems.

When you go across the PRI span, you need to redefine the legnth of the public routes to include the extra digit that you will pass along in order to get an outside line.

With enbloc dialing, the system waits for the entire character string before dialing.

Give that a try.
