MICS 6.0 line 6 answers & line 1

When calls come in on line 1 or 2, the calls are also trying to ring on line 6 and this locks up the system.
When this happens on the main CAP phone they have a service mode key, but they cannot answer any other lines from any other phone. Even if its activated, they cannot answer the calls on any other phones. Done all the reprogramming over and over..

Is this a new install?
I ask because I had a similar thing happen to me on a CICS last week with CLID cards.

I pulled the cards and found all the dip switches ON. I changed it to NA, and the system worked.

If it is not a new install, the first thing you need to check is if it happens before the system at the demarc. I have had similar type weirdness with bad pair gain modules upstream.

Yes this is a new install. And yes they are using CLID cards. I am going to pull the card and set the dip switches to NA...Also if that doesn't work will have the co pulled in to check at the demarc to check the pairs.

Found out that thru all the mess we found out that the backplane was damaged. We moved the card to a new module and things are cherry!!!! Thanks for your help
