We just upgraded a MICS 5.0 to XC 5.0...Installer guides indicates target lines for MICS are 145-272 and XC 145-336. After the upgrade we still only have 145-272. Shouldn't the target lines range now go to 336?

What kind of expansion card do you have in the MICS?

6 port combo. we didn't do any hardware changes, system has been inplace working for 2yrs. It's part of a school network, 9 MICS each with it's own PRI to an OPT61C. The station numbers don't match the DID's so we had used two target lines per station. They added stations and we need more target lines. Thought upgrade to XC would provide?

Opened a ticket w/ITAS. If anyone has ideas I'd sure like to hear'em. Thanks

Not sure but don't you have to have the other 6 port expansion card in. Because right now even with the software the system is not truely expanded.

hawks, yeah, that does make sense and we're going to try that. ITAS called back and also suggested that it would take a "fully expanded" system to get that range of target lines. We will know later this morning. I'll post the results.

You do need the second 6 port expansion card installed on an XC system to get target lines 157-348

Yup, the additional 6 port expansion did the deed.
Thanks again for all your input.
