Mics 4.1and Nam 4.0 messages freezing

Hi Guys great forum,i have a mics 4.1 with a man 4.0,when my customer is checking messages the message freezes,a reboot fixes the problem until next time.Ive changed 6 port card and fiber cable,didnt help.please help.Thanks

Sounds like the NAM could be going bad.

So far done with this problem:
Replaced 2 port Exp card with a 6
Replaced NAM
Moved to another port on replacement Exp card
Reboots of both

KSU is 3.0
NAMs were 3.0 and 4.0

All was fine for years as 3.0 and 3.0


Only thing I can think of in order is
Blast KSU programming
Replace software and NVRAM
Replace KSU
Or just upgrade everything to 4.1 NAM and 7.1 KSU.

Site has 300 phantom mailboxes so is a pain.

Thank you guys,im going to replace NAM today with a 4.1 can I backup the 4.0 and restore on the 4.1?Thanks

No. You can only restore programming to the same NAM, not a different one.
