Hi all,

I have a MICS 4.1 with no voicemail, the sys version is 30NcG15 NAT, and I'd like to know what kind (if any) of norstar voicemail can I set up here. There has never been a voicemail module on this system. Is it a keycoded feature and how can I tell how many ports we would get from a given unit?

We have a warehouse with overstock Norstar parts. I have access to the following:
NORSTAR FLSH VM 2.0 MDL 2 ENG, part 595551.
NORSTAR FLASH 2.0 MDL 2, part NT5B07AABE
NORSTAR VOICEMAIL SYS. APPLICATION MODULE, part NT5B74AABJ

These part names/numbers came from a master list I was provided.

You need at minimum or above:
NAM 4.1 (can have 2 to 16 channels)
Startalk Flash 1.9 (can have 2 or 4 channels)

How to check version - F983, log in and press 9
How to check codes/mailboxes - F983, log in and press 44
How to check channels on a NAM - Log into F915

Looks like your NAM might be 4.0

My chart shows NAM 4.0 compatibility ends at 5.0. You need 4.1 when you reach MICS 6.x and above.
