I've inherited a system with 8 recorded company greetings for 4 different companies on the same system. How do I determine what incoming phone number is associated with each greeting in order to maintain that list?
Login to the NAM, go to AA, then lines, enter 001 and then scroll through to see which table the lines are assigned to. The NAM has 4 tables. Table 1 = greetings 1-4, table 2 = greetings 5-8, table 3 = greetings 9-12, and table 4 = greetings 13-16. Greetings 4, 8, 12 & 16 are the company closed greetings, the rest are your company open greetings. 1 = morning, 2 = afternoon, 3 = evening. Same sequence for 5-7, 9-11 & 13-15. Brian Cox

Yes that is typical setup...but to double check:
once you find what table the line is using then go to Tables and enter 1 and press OK, OK and you will see Morning: Greeting #?,press NEXT Afternoon: Greeting # and so on, then go to Table #2 and repeat procedure.
I myself stay away from the good afternoon or good morning greetings and just use a generic one and have Greeting 1 play morning, afternoon and for evening greeting number 2(we are closed)and I never use the Closed Greeting as too many complaints and frustrations having to press F982 and enter passwords etc.
Right. Usually only one customer greeting is assigned to each table to keep things simple. Company closed will normally only be used during an extended break, like during Christmas holidays. It can get a bit more complicated if you're also using the auto attendant greeting or CCR tree. Brian Cox
