mics 1.1 upgrade to 6.0

what do i need to do to upgrade an mics 1.1 to 6.0?

Are you going to try to load the programming info from the 1.1 to the 6.0, or just start over. If you are going to start over, the software is all you need.

Usualy you use an upgrade tool to upgrade KSU's.
Try phoning around for this part NTAB2569 and make sure from who you buy it that it will go from 1.1 to 6.0...I only know it will go to 4.0 but the say 4.0 or higher.

I just did this upgrade on Friday, and used the Nortel upgrade tool. I've done lots going to 4.x and 5.0, but this was the first 6.0.
After going to 6.0, about 20 of the 65 sets had changed DN's. Set relocation had been in use for quite some time, and very few of the port assignments were default before the upgrade.
After 2 hours of changing DN's, all was o.k.
All of the programming was retained with the upgrade. All of the target lines were changed, as were the analog trunks. The only problem was the glitch with the DN's
