When I insert a picture (any format) into Word either by copy and paste or Insert > Picture from file, it does not display at all. I can select the image, so it is there, but does not display. If I use the picture toolbar to do something to the image (eg rotate it) then the picture displays but if I scroll off the picture then it dissapears again... incredibly annoying!
I'm on SP3 for Office and I've downloaded all the correct updates (according to Office update)

Can anyone help?

Thanks

Neil

Hi,

I'm currently using Normal, but I've tried it on all settings, also with different zoom settings....

Thanks

Neil

Try updating your printer and graphics drivers. The graphics driver is the most likely, but an out of date or corrupt printer driver may also cause this.

If you are using a Dell Laptop, there's not much you can do except reduce the acceleration on the graphics down three notches. (New driver expected sometime to resolve the Dell problem.)

Have you checked to see if you need to turn off "show picture placeholders"?

Tools > Options > View
Show (first section of options)
Picture placeholders should be unchecked
