Microsoft Word question about , +. ?

Hi

A friend of mine called me and said his wife was having a problem with Word.

Every time she types a comma, she get both a comma and a period and doesn't know how to make it stop.

I have no idea what this is.

Something that has to be turned off I imagine but since I don't know what it is called I can't find it.

Anyone have any idea?

I would check Tools, AutoCorrect (Word 2003)

does it do the same thing in other products other than Word? Might need to try a different keyboard, or clean out the space between the comma and dot.

Thanks I'll have them check that.
It just started doing it, and it only does it in Word.
It has worked with this keyboard etc, up until yesterday.

Still no luck, is there some kind of preference file that can be deleted and return everything to the default settings?

Or anything short of removing Office and reinstalling?

Problem solved!
This is a good one. LOL!!!

It turns out that there was something stuck between the period and comma keys, so that when you pushed one they both moved.
