Hi, I am getting the following error message

Microsoft VBScript runtime error '800a01a8'

Object required: '[undefined]'

/test/EN/test123.asp, line 166

in one of my ASP Pages.
The weired thing is that i get this error message in my Netscape browser and not in IE.Also this error message comes up in some netscape browsers and on other machines it works fine.

I'll aprreciate all the help

What is line 166 pointing to? That might help narrow it down..

Hi, I am getting a similar error message:

Microsoft VBScript runtime error '800a01a8'
Object required: 'Session(...)'
/AddCost.asp, line 124

This error message does not repeat when accessing the webpage from another computer which also uses IE 6.0.
Have searched the Microsoft Support Database and cannot find the answer. What file needs to be edited to correct this? Your assistance is appreciated.

found this at the ASPEmail site, thought it might shed some light on your problem ronijack:

When running the SendMail.asp sample application, I always receive the following error message. What does it mean and how can I fix it?

Microsoft VBScript runtime error '800a01a8'
Object required: 'Session(...)'

This error means the global.asa file is not being executed. Open the Microsoft Management Console, bring up the properties of a virtual directory in which SendMail.asp is placed, and on the main property tab, click the "Create" button under the Application Settings.

The error message in your example is the same as the problem I am encountering, however, it does not involve the same application. When I encounter this error message, I am accessing a webpage which requires certain data to be sent to the server or host of the website,...I have notified the website but they say they cannot duplicate the problem. The website is "building-cost.net." I have gone to the website and used it successfully from another PC using the same browser and ISP. I am thinking that there is a problem with the VBScript file on my PC.
