What does this "Overflow" runtime error message I get when I try to create an access ADP database and connect to a SQL server?

Any help will be greatfully appreciated.

I get that error at work where I don't have complete permissions on sql server. It may be a security/permissions related issue, anyway, that is what I am assuming.

I get this problem at home. Have you found a solution yet.

thanks

Hi,

Thanks for helping out.

The problem though still exists when running through with the initial steps in creating an adp whereby you'll be asked to make a connection right away. However, just let it fail at that part; what you do is do the connection to your SQL server by going to the File menu and then select the Connect... option there. It did work for me.

Regards.
