Dear All,

Please can you help?

I found a thread posted a couple of years ago from a guy who was experiencing exactly the same problem as me but unfortunately there was no reply.

Basically I want to write a couple of VBSCRIPTS (i'm OK at doing that) but when I run them from the script IDE, no matter what or where I set breakpoints, when I press F5, F10 or F11 nothing happens. I was expecting the yellow bar to appear on the statement just like in normal MS debugging applications.

Please can you advise where I am going wrong.

Many thanks

Pete

Hi Mark,

Thank you for your reply, I will download the link tomorrow at work. It certainly looks the business!

Thanks again,

Pete

Yes it is a great product. I use it personally. I just wish they would add tab support. But the price is right on it for just about any budget and it is fully featured.

I used to until I switched to Vista and my paid for version would no longer work and Primal wanted $300 to upgrade. They lost a customer because they didn't make the existing version work on Vista and/or didn't offer a reasonable upgrade price.

I hope you find this post helpful.

Mark

With Vista Microsoft has tried to lock down debuggers because the mechanism to trap unhandled exceptions turned out to be an infection vector or something.

The VS6 debugger no longers works, nor does the VS2003 debugger, and even VS2005 can't debug unless you install SP1 and a special SP1 Vista Update.

My guess is that the Script Editor from Office 2007 might work but I don't have it to test.
