There was a problem with a pst file for a user that stores their work on the C drive. Their pst file was 1.5Gb+ and showed up as being corrupted. I ran scanpst.exe and then the repair.
I'd like to break down the existing pst file into more manageable 'chunks' - can anyone help please. Thanks

Run a date based archive procedure.

Bear in mind size limit for one PST is 2GB..

However, You may use several pst file simultaneously.

Just create two additional pst files and move some stuff.

Cheers,
Robert

In Outlook just go to File -> New and there is an option in there for personal folders.

If anyone calls and says "I know a little something about computers" just tell them to reformat it.

What happens if you run over the 2GB size about 50 MB in size. I managed to recover about 99% of the file but what about the 1%? The 1% was apparently important to the user.
