Hello guys,

We are using Microsoft Workgroup Postoffice Admin to communicate through email internally in our organisation. The postoffice actually handle 80 users and it works just fine. The post office has been configured on the Windows NT server and users ID been created respectively. The only problem is that i do not know whether this is a POP3 or SMTP protocols. Could anybody help please ?

Thank you
Salim

Hi Salim,

Microsoft Workgroup Postoffice has nothing to do with POP3, SMTP or even TCP/IP. You can also use it on a network running NetBEUI or IPX only.
You may find more details on Microsofts knowledge base.

If you are looking for a good and free POP3/SMTP server I recommend Mercury by David Harris that can be found at
