Hi All,

I have a Microsoft Intellimouse (Optical), that I am trying to get to work in Windows 2000 Professional (SP3), but it just won't have it.

It is a USB mouse. Windows detects the mouse but it shows it as an unknown device. I have installed the latest drivers etc etc but still no joy.

Oh and I know the mouse isn't faulty because it works fine with my other machine that runs Windows XP.

Any ideas ?

Cheers

I am running that same mouse on Win2k SP3 without any problems. However, the only difference is that I am using the PS/2 adaptor that shipped with it because I have other USB devices installed.

Have you tried using the little green adaptor that ships with it?

Hope this helps
- Graeme

Tried that Graeme in the past - Still no joy !

Thanks anyway. Still searching the answer please !
