microsoft information store

If I include the information store in the backup, the backup runs and runs and runs but never backs up any data. Any insights? (B/U exec 9 on MS SBS running exchange)

I may be wrong, but I do not think you should backup the information store. I have seen this before where it the backup never completes. You should just backup the mail boxes instead.

I have no problem backing up my Information Store. Make sure you have logged on your services with your backupadmin account. Also make sure BE is using the correct account to access the drives.
