Microsoft Excel 2003. Insert not available on the toolbar.

Hi,

My Insert option on the toolbar for Microsoft Excel 2003 is dimmed(not in black, it is gray) on the toolbar. The File, Edit, View etc. are available.
How do I get the Insert option back to work.

No, I did not put any protection on my spreadsheet. It is happening in all my documents.

How about if you open Excel in safe mode:
